The four steps
Nothing about this process is outsourced. Every step below happens at 6310 Hwy 162 Unit D in Hollywood.
1. Drop off
Bring your garments to the counter at 6310 Hwy 162 Unit D, any day we're open, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Hand them to a staff member — no bags to fill out or forms to complete. Tell us the cutoff you're working toward and we'll confirm whether same-day pickup is realistic that day.
For same-day service, aim to arrive by 10:00 AM. Anything dropped off later is simply moved to next-day turnaround rather than rushed. Large orders — several suits, a week of shirts, a stack of table linens — may also run to the next day if the finishing rail is already full.
2. Inspect & tag
Every garment is checked before it goes anywhere near a machine. We look at fabric type, lining, buttons, zippers and trim, and flag any existing stains, tears or worn spots so nothing is a surprise later.
Each piece gets tagged so it stays matched to your order the whole way through, even when it's sitting on a rail next to dozens of other customers' clothes. If something needs special handling — a delicate knit, a garment with an unusual stain, a piece with decorative trim — this is where we make that call and, if needed, talk it through with you before proceeding.
3. Clean & finish
Cleaning and finishing both happen on-site in Hollywood — nothing is boxed up and driven to another plant across the county. Shirts are pressed and hung, suits get their shoulders shaped back into place, knitwear is blocked flat instead of hung (so it doesn't stretch), and coats get the attention their weight and lining need.
For delicate or skin-sensitive items, we favor a gentler, low-water finishing approach over relying purely on harsh solvent. That's part of why we don't send anything out to a separate facility — keeping the process in-house means we can match the right care to the right garment instead of running everything through one generic cycle. Curious about the gentler process specifically? Read more on our wet cleaning page.
4. Same-day pickup
Come back before we close at 9:00 PM (last service 8:00 PM) and collect your order pressed, hung or folded and ready to wear or pack. If you dropped off after the 10:00 AM cutoff, pickup is the next day instead — still handled with the same care, just on the next day's schedule.
If your plans change, just call ahead — we can usually hold a finished order at the counter for a day or two without any trouble. We'll always tell you plainly if a piece needs longer than expected rather than have you show up to an order that isn't ready.
Choose your speed
Every order runs through the same four steps — the only thing that changes is how fast it moves back out the door.
